Most of these procedures are day surgery, so you go home the same day. You will need someone to drive you home and, for the first night, to be around. If you are travelling to us from another province, that is part of what your coordinator arranges: accommodation near the facility, and a plan for the journey home once your surgeon is happy. Where an overnight stay is safer, we book a facility that provides it properly rather than sending you to a hotel to manage.
